Paris day 2

Bonjour Mon Amies!

This is my second day in romantic Paris. Today my parents and I walked for 9 hours along the Seine river and its surroundings.

The first photo is of the Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon for celebrations of victory in wars. Sometime later this week, I will visit it during the night time and climb up to the top to snap some night photos.

Escargot, what would my France experience be without them?
These I had were fresh! Soaked in olive oil and bake with herbs. The cafe was on a cobble stone sidewalk, beside buildings from the 19th Century. Mom and Dad both had baguette sandwiches.

How delicious, rose peddled gelato from Armerino in Left Bank. Raspberry on the outside and hazelnut on the in. It was very smooth.

Renault's new Clio! its a cute little thing :) The top is completely glass and has built in solar energy collection technologies.

Cathédrale Notre Dame. They started building in the 12th century! Its very detailed outside, haven't seen inside yet. They closed when we got there. But I shall be back by the end of the week.

Tomorrow, I will go to Normandy, north west of Paris. It is the country side, my uncle promised the food will be great. Can't wait :) There's also a big castle on an island, it's in movies a lot.

Bonne Nuit ~
